Alicia Justice

Author, Mother, Planner…OH MY!

Alicia Justice writes romance, mostly military contemporary romance. Her novels often stem from her own experiences with friends and family that have been in the military themselves, giving her a plethora of information to use. She also uses her own life experiences for creating characters that you want to root for, even when you’re not sure they’re going to make it out of the situation they’re in.

Her first novel First to Fight, which is the series title as well will be released in 2022. She loves connecting with her readers and getting to know them. She’s been around the publishing industry for years, mainly through the blog she ran called Ali’s Bookshelf. Now she’s using that knowledge to write her own books.

Writing

I’ve been writing since, well for as long as I can remember. I love creating new characters and telling their stories. I first started to really put my all into my author journey a few years back. Mainly when I started on the first book in this series. I participated in #NaNoWriMo and well the rest is history. This year is my seventh year participating in NaNo!

Reading

I’ve always been an avid reader. My mom never cencored anything that I read and it brought the joy of reading into my life! I read a bunch of different genre’s. Before I decided to really go after my dream of becoming an author, I was a reviewer on my blog Ali’s Bookshelf. Though I don’t blog there anymore, you can often find me with my nose stuck in a book or my Kindle! LOL

Planner

I am also an avid planner! Right now I have a planner pretty much for every aspect of my life. One for my author life, one for my mom life and well one for my homeschool life. (Yes I homeschool both of my kiddos!)

Photography

Right now I’m learning how to take pictures, yeah the word learning takes on a whole new meaning for me in this catagory. Though if I was being honest with myself I’m not that bad. I do enjoy taking images for Instagram and nature pictures the most though.

Blogging

Like I mentioned in the reading section. I’ve been a blogger for a very long time. I started out as a book review blog. After that I tried my hand at lifestyle blogging, now I’m blogging about my author journey.
